The Fox is a community pub in the heart of Dosthill, Tamworth.

We love people and we love good beer. Combined, we’re bringing the Fox back to life.

We’ve been working hard for the last year and half to re-establish the Fox as the well beloved pub it always was. Expect perfect beer and a clean, friendly atmosphere with lots going on!

We offer a family friendly experience with dogs now welcome both the lounge and bar (they even have their own doggy bar with water, blankets and treats). If you haven’t been down in a while, give us a try even our regulars are super friendly!

We’ve been working hard to renovate the conservatory and kitchen so that we can bring you food! Our new restaurant ‘Omar’s Table’ will be opening 15th December for Sunday roasts. Reservations now open!

So, what’s been going on at the Fox over the past 2 years?

Well, we now have our own football team, pool team, ladies darts team and golf society. We host weekly poker nights and quiz nights, bi-weekly live singers on a Sunday afternoon and monthly Paint & Sip evenings. We’ve recently revamped the garden with a new resin patio and furniture and a stage ideal for outdoor entertainment and our newly renovated conservatory is now a restaurant open for Sunday roasts every week!

We’ve introduced new beers, spirits and ales including a range of non alcoholic drinks for the drivers. We have snuggle blankets for the colder evenings, we have begun painting, wallpapering and carpeting including a new floor in the bar, a full refurb in the conservatory …and we’re just getting started. We’ve replaced all beer lines, redone the cellar and renewed the glassware to ensure a perfect pint every time. There’s been a lot more ‘behind the scenes work’ that all ensures a pleasant experience for our customers.

What can you expect over the next year at The Fox?

We will continue slowly redeorating and rebuilding, we are looking at putting on more events and activities. We’re looking to start up a men’s darts team. We are opening for pub meals on a Friday and Saturday (early - mid 2025), and we’re offering hot drinks now too!

We are gracious of the love and support we’ve received and we hope that our local community will continue to support us and we thank all those who have done so up to now.
